They have raised more than $4.5 million in support of Hunger

PLEASANTON and LOS ANGELES, Calif. —June 12, 2014—The Safeway Foundation and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) have announced they have raised more than $4.5 million in support of Hunger Is, a joint charitable initiative designed to raise awareness and funds to fight childhood hunger in America. The campaign kicked off in April with a month-long in-store fundraiser in more than 1,300 Safeway stores across the U.S. Additional funds were generated through online donations at HungerIs.org. The year-round campaign encourages individuals and communities to get involved in solving this widespread problem that too often goes unnoticed and, according to the USDA, affects one in five children in America.

INDIANAPOLIS — An IUPUI professor is one of two Indiana University faculty members named to a list of the 25 most influential people in legal education by National Jurist magazine.

Randall T. Shepard, distinguished visiting professor in the IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and visiting professor at the Indiana University McKinney School of Law, also part of the IUPUI campus, is No. 21 on the annual list.

Troy Bruce has recently joined Logicmark

Troy Bruce has recently joined Logicmark as the Director of Sales for the PERS Monitored channel.

In his new role he will be working with dealers, distributors and central stations to help them provide innovative two way voice solutions to the growing PERS market. Troy has spent his career building relationships in the security industry in his roles with Intellisense, ADI, Ademco and Honeywell and has been recognized as a top producer at each company.

After leaving Honeywell in 2011, Troy founded Novus Security in Louisville KY and gained a first hand appreciation of the business from the dealer perspective until selling his company earlier this year.

He is happy to be reunited with Ben Cornett and Kevin O’Connor and is excited about being part of growing business in a high growth industry.
